gonegosyo 300x105 Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit | Manila, PhilippinesI was invited by a friend to Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit, organized by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE), the non-governmental organization behind the Go Negosyo advocacy.

The Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit promotes entrepreneurship among Filipinos, the youth in particular.

Obviously, just by the name of this site, I support GoNegosyo’s advocacy to change the mindset and attitude of Filipinos when it comes to starting a business and to make entrepreneurship a popular alternative to unemployment, migration, and endless job-seeking.

This event is only for one (1) day.  I honestly don’t know when they’re going to hold the next one.  There will be discussions/seminars with GoNegosyo mentors, and there will also be government leaders who will share their views on the need for entrepreneurship development in the Philippines.

I wonder if I’ll get to meet the likes of Tony Tan Caktiong of Jollibee or Socorro Ramos of National Bookstore, who are part of the board of trustees of Go Negosyo.  I would love to meet these very inspiring entrepreneurs!

Who are invited to come?  Well, it’s FREE and open to all!  Entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, students, employees, OFWs, youth organizations, etc.
