4 Common Traits of Goal Achievers
TIME is one of those things that cannot be produced.
Twenty-four hours… and that’s it for the day.
Just one more day today and another year has passed. Whew, time flies really fast!
It’s goodbye to 2011 and HELLO to 2012!
It’s that time of year again for goal reviewing and goal setting…
As the year ends, I’m thinking about the difference between the people who hit their goals and those who don’t.
I notice that the difference is really not having more skills or talent. It’s also not due to more education or experience. There are many educated, experienced, and talented people just wandering in life.
I found out that the people who achieve their goals have the following things in common:
- They have a Dream
- They have Specific Goals to reach for along the way
- They have a Timeline for achieving the goals
- They regularly Keep Track of their goals
I recently bought a business training program, and Setting Goals is actually the first step inside the program.
It’s THAT important.
One of my main goals right now is to attend a spectacular gathering in Hawaii on April 2013. Qualifying period is in 2012. Next step is to make plans, projects and layout specific tasks to achieve it (will you help me achieve that? 
).
Some may say that it’s kind of a tall order but I believe that’s what makes it exciting! Your dream has to be something big, bold, and daring to pull you out of bed every morning and compelling enough to keep you pushing forward even when there are challenges and setbacks.
So, start today (if you haven’t already) to plan out your next year. Make your Dream Board, set goals in ALL areas of your life and break ‘em down into bite-sized tasks with a timeline. Doing this will give you a much better chance of actually achieving your goals!

So, forget the past and move forward in the New Year! It’s TIME!
I encourage you to Dream Big in 2012. There are NO LIMITS to what you can achieve.
NOTHING can stop you from achieving anything you want in life, except yourself.
